Visible to: public

Time zone: Melbourne
Reminder: 1 day before
Ends: 01:30pm (duration is about 4 hours)

Uniform: A try-on pack will be available at this training session. Players will be able to purchase uniforms online from May 16th via http://shop.kukrisports.com.au/. A take home order sheet will be available to allow players to remember sizes.

If your child is unable to attend please contact the Zone Coordinator well before the date.
It is a requirement for players to attend all training sessions, unless a case for exemption has been approved by the Zone Coordinator or Hockey Victoria prior to the session.

Note: All players are required to attend each training session as their involvement is necessary in order for the player to get to know their teammates and coach, whilst also allowing the coach to determine their capabilities, and how they fit into their coach’s plans.

Remember to bring you Hockey Stick, Shin Pads, Mouth Guards, Goal Keeper Gear if you are playing Goal keeper for your team.

Food/drink: Latrobe Valley HA will have a temporary canteen open, however this will be for tea, coffee, and possibly soft drinks. Players are encouraged to bring along all food and drink they will require for the whole day. Alternatives are local shops in town.

QUESTIONNAIRE = A questionnaire has been developed in order for management staff to get to know players more intimately. Questions will be hockey specific, and be used to individualize the training program. Together this information will provide each player, coach, and team manager with more knowledge necessary for development.

STRATEGY = This is an opportunity for coaches to graphically represent what their team will be trying to reproduce when they take to the field. Coaches will have access to whiteboards and this will provide players with a greater perspective and understanding of the implemented game style.

GAMES = This is a chance for players and coaches to get to know each other better in a non-hockey format, through games. Players are encouraged to inform their coaches of what games they would like to play. These can be ball games, board games, tag games, etc.

Location

Federation University, McDonald Way, Churchill, VIC 3842.
